Replacing Bargeboards
If existing fascia is in poor condition they may need completely removing. The 18mm PVC fascia is fixed directly to the joist timber. As replacement bargeboards require extensive work to the roof area it is important that work is carried out by a qualified installer. New drip felt is required as well as tile work and possibly joist work to ensure a water tight finish and a secure fixture. Request a free no-obligation quotation today.

PVCu Fascia Fixed Direct To Roof Joist
Existing timber boards are removed and the larger 18 mm fascia board is then fixed to the roof joists. On all replacement bargeboard systems new non-rot drip felt is positioned under the front row of tiles and led into the new guttering. This ensures a water tight finish since the old felt is often damaged when removing the timber fascia board. Existing front row tiles are refitted. Bird guards can be fitted as an optional extra at this stage.
